My name is Habe Bey and I dwell in Bey Village, Langtui, Chinthong Rongbong, in the western part of Karbi Anglong. I was a Longri Habe, which means, a respectable leader or a Judge in Karbi customary systems. I administered 367 (three hundred sixty seven) villages. I judged people and convict their offences under my jurisdiction. I held this office for 8 (eight) years and strictly observed all my pagan, social, cultural and spiritual heritages.

I have real peace of mind and the peace which I experience daily is much greater than before and I am now assured of my salvation. I also enjoy greater respect than before. What a joy to be with Jesus.
